Posts that are promoted from your Facebook page can run as ads on Facebook, Instagram, and Messenger. To prevent your Page ads from appearing on Instagram: After you’ve selected to promote your Page or post, find the Automatic Placements button next to the ad preview. Turn off Automatic Placements.
